  1. Shiva Cafébest places in dharamshala Mcleodganj

If you like hippie ambience then this café is a must visit for you. Situated near the famous Bhagsu waterfall, café can be reached by 30-40 minutes of walk. With a different ambience, food is also mindblowing. You can try food like pasta, burger or pizza here with different variant in ingredients.

We recommend you to avoid visiting this place in peak season of April – June. Absorb complete vibes of this hippie place by visiting in month Sep – Nov.

 

  1. Naddi Village

This is a secluded village which is 3 kms away from Mcleodganj. There is a famous Naddi view point which is a spot for witnessing astonishing sunrise & sunset. This village is less explored so we recommend you to pay a visit once & you can also book a hotel or guest house in Naddi Village.

  1. Triund Trek

This is one of the famous trek of Himalayas for beginners. It is a 9 kms of trek that starts from Gallu Temple. Trek remains open during summer April – October & gets covered with heavy snow during winters. If you have basic fitness level, then you can attempt this trek. Take a local guide and camping equipments with you as one  night stay is required at Triund top.

  1. Bhasgu Waterfall

You can cover this waterfall while visiting Shiva café. Waterfall is visible from the starting and there is a proper trail. So, anyone can attempt to reach here and it looks so stunning in the summer and some tourists could be find taking a bath in the holy waterfall.

Bhasgu nag waterfall is dedicated to Sheshnag of Lord Shiva.

  1. Dalai Lama Temple

In this town of Lamas, you visit would be incomplete without visiting the holy shire of Dalai Lama. This temple has got a different vibes and peaceful atmosphere. During evening & morning time, you can find monks chanting mantras.

There is a famous market near Dalai Lama Temple, so you can busy some Tibetan handicrafts, artificial jewellery, prayer flags etc from this market.

As the name suggests, this café is famous for Italian cuisines like pasta, pizza etc. The location of this café is prime, situated in the main square chowk. As you drop down at Mcleodganj bus stand, Jimmy Italian Kitchen lies in the front as you enters the main market.
